Abandoned Signal A Post-Apocalyptic Short Story
The world had ended, and all that remained were ruins and remnants of what once was. The sky was a sickly shade of yellow, and the air was thick with dust and ash. It was a desolate place, and few survived.
In the midst of this wasteland, there stood an abandoned signal post. It was once used to communicate with the outside world, but now it was silent. The only sounds that could be heard were the howling winds and the occasional crumbling of ruins.
One day, a lone traveler stumbled upon the signal post. He was tired, hungry, and desperate for shelter. He entered and took refuge inside. It was dark and musty, and the traveler could barely see his own hand in front of his face. But it was better than being out in the open.
As he settled in, the traveler noticed something strange. The signal post's radio was on, and it was emitting a faint signal. He couldn't make out what it was saying, but it was definitely a message.
The traveler was curious and decided to investigate further. He fiddled with the knobs and buttons until he finally tuned into the signal. What he heard left him stunned.
