Nexus

For this keyframe concept, I used only Photoshop, combining photobashing and digital painting techniques to bring the scene to life. I started by establishing the composition with a massive building structure (Power reactor) in the foreground, framing the view and naturally guiding the eye toward the distant energy surge.
The leading lines from the structural cables and the river reinforce depth and direct attention to the focal point. I played with contrast, using the explosion in the background against the cold stormy blues to create tension.
Atmospheric perspective, rain effects, and subtle lighting adjustments helped enhance the cinematic mood and scale of the scene.
